In this project, Craftique was entrusted with the task of elevating the guest experience through the design and delivery of bespoke, contract-grade furniture. Our objective: to create pieces that harmonise with the Maldivian landscape, withstand coastal conditions, and express a sense of quiet elegance.
Designing for an iconic destination such as the Maldives presents both an opportunity and a responsibility. While the aesthetics must reflect the opulence expected of a JW Marriott property, the tropical climate — characterised by humidity, salt-laden air, and intense sunlight — necessitates a meticulous approach to material selection and construction.
From expansive guest villas to open-air lounges, each environment demanded furniture that would seamlessly integrate with the architecture and natural surroundings while delivering enduring performance.

For both beachfront and overwater suites, Craftique delivered custom-designed bedroom and living area furnishings that complemented the serene palette of sand, sea, and sky.
